Developing Scenarios
A scenario is a scene the participant moves through, with other road users, events, and an ending. This section covers everything you need to build one. If you're new to it, read Introduction to Scenarios to see how the parts fit together, then follow the Scenario Quick Start to build your first one.
Introduction to Scenarios
The systems that make up a scenario, where to start building one, and how a session flows from start to finish.
Creating Your First Scenario
Step-by-step walkthrough for building your first yielding scenario with a scooter, delivery robot, and pedestrian.
Setting Up a Scenario
Core components every scenario needs: the Game Mode, player spawning, event triggers, scene reload, data collection, traffic objects, and remote control.
Agents
The agents in a scenario: ego agents that the participant controls, road agents that move on their own, and idle agents that stay in place.
Timeline
Using Unity Timeline to create scripted sequences.
User Interface
The HUD participants see during a scenario: the UI overlay scene, the speedometer, and the help panel and menu.
Navigation System

Interaction System
The interaction system lets participants interact with objects in the scene. When a participant walks close to an interactable object and it is visible on screen, a prompt panel appears showing one or more choices. The participant clicks or holds a button to trigger an action, such as opening a door, starting a dialogue, or activating a device.
Dialogue Systems
Components for creating and triggering in-scenario dialogues and conversations.
Time Limit System
A time limit defines how long a participant can remain in a scene or session. When the allotted time expires, the scene ends, results may be recorded, and the participant advances to the next

Feedback System
Measure how well participants perform during an interaction and show them their results after the scenario to encourage better performance.
