Interface IPathFollow

Allows a Behaviour Tree tick to advance an actor along its current path by calling FollowPath once per tick, keeping path-execution decoupled from the specific navigation back-end.

public interface IPathFollow

Remarks

The HasValidDestination guard lets the BT node check whether a goal has been set before ticking, preventing unnecessary physics updates when no path is assigned and avoiding null-reference exceptions in FollowPath.

Methods

FollowPath()

Advances the object one step along its current path toward the destination, updating both position and orientation.

void FollowPath()

HasValidDestination()

Determines if there is a valid destination to follow along the path.

bool HasValidDestination()

Returns

bool — True if there is a destination to follow, false otherwise.
